Tithe Barn - Mr & Mrs Sayce

I had been looking forward to the wedding of Jo and Dane for over a year, not only because The Tithe Barn is completely stunning but also because I knew from our consultation meeting that this wedding would be gorgeous.

A short drive away from Tithe Barn, the girls were getting ready in a golf cottage. When I arrived everyone was super chilled and Jo, the bride, was making her way round her bridal party doing everyone's make up. Jo is a make up artist who I've had the pleasure of working with before and she made it look like fitting in all of her bridesmaids and her mum's make up as well as her own was a breeze. (Joanne H Make up)

I started with the dress; I see a lot of wedding dresses but I absolutely loved how unique Jo's dress was. I took it outside and found the perfect place to hang it up in a doorway of the little brick cottage. Once I had captured all the little details, the shoes, the perfume, the jewellery and the bridal flowers one of the girls showed me the bride's present from her groom. So much thought had been put into writing a little scroll to fit inside a tiny bottle. Not to mention the amazing gifts from her groom, all in a perfect personalised box.

Once Jo was all ready and in her beautiful wedding dress I headed on to the venue. It was a beautiful sunny day and as all the guests were arriving and mingling outside I was able to capture some shots of the ceremony set up inside. After some lovely candid moments outside it was time for the guests to take their seats. The bridal party arrived in a gorgeous VW campervan which had even been decorated with flowers for that extra touch.

The aisle of Tithe Barn is amazing; it is a long aisle with plenty of space which makes your entrance even more grand! First to walk was the bride and groom's children along with another flower girl and they all did such a great job at leading the way for the bridesmaids and finally the bride alongside her father.

The ceremony was such a light-hearted one full of laughter. One of my favourite moments had to be the father of the bride having to go back to get his granddaughter after he'd put her down to give his own daughter away. She didn't want to miss a thing... Or just loves those grandad cuddles!

After the ceremony everyone went back outside in the glorious sunshine and I assembled everyone into a tunnel ready for the confetti photos! This is a great way to kick off the celebrations when the newlyweds walk out of the ceremony to greet their guests!

After a group photo of the entire wedding party I captured the family and friend group photos requested by the bride and groom. As if this place couldn't get any better, it has endless areas that are just so stunning for couple photos. My absolute favourites have to be the shepherds hut (which I also took the bridal party to) and the wooden rose trellis to the side of the building.

Back in the building which consists of one very large barn room, everything had been changed around ready for the guests to take their seats for the speeches. Each table had a gold candelabra in the middle and all the details looked perfect with this rustic building as a backdrop.

The speeches were before the food today and I noticed the little envelope on the tables that weren't allowed to be opened until told to do so. This was revealed during the best man speech, when each table found some brilliant (and probably mortifying on the grooms part) photographs tucked inside!

After the BBQ the rest of the afternoon was really chilled and had a great atmosphere, everyone was having a great time out in the sunshine.

Later, after the evening guests had arrived, it was time to round everyone up to watch the cake being cut and the first dance. I really love the moments I caught during the first dance and I love the contrast between the darker shadows in the high ceilings and the bride and groom lit by my flash, surrounded by their guests.

I had such a great day with the new Mr and Mrs Sayce; what an amazing job they did planning such a stunning wedding!
